I just had a quick question. I was just noticing that in many of your projects, you use this distressing ink. Where do you find it? What is it? and how do you use it? They sure make things look neat. Thanks! I love your blog. Please get back to me at mindysland1@hotmail.com.
Thanks, Mindy

I am just wondering where you guys are located?

Distress Ink is an ink pad, designed specifically for making projects look "antiqued", or "weathered". You can purchase it at most scrapbook and craft stores.

I came across your website a few days ago and have fallen in love. Your ideas are adorable and directions are easy to understand..especially for us who are not too crafty. I was wondering where you get your vinyl letters. I went to the local craft store and they do not sell them. I was hoping to start some holiday crafting pretty soon and would love to have find them!!

Great question! You'll need to order your vinyl from a vinyl company online. I have a link to the one I use in my right side bar, under the title, "need vinyl?". You can call them, and they will talk you through whatever you need.

Good luck!!

Just found your website and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I am interested in the Silhouette giveaway or just purchasing it if I don't win...what a stroke of genius! Since I am not too computer savvy, I am posting this way. Is this how I enter into the giveaway? Thanks

I love the place for everything posts. What about a fridge makeover mine always gets soo messy so quickly. Vinyl lettering can stick really well inside a fridge. Just a thought :) Love your blog!

I am thinking of buying a silhouette machine. I was wondering if you use the software that comes with it or if you have the software that you can purchase? I didn't know if the one that comes with it is really too basic or not. Trying to figure out my total cost of everything.

I just discovered this and I LOVE all your creative ideas. I am wondering if you might have some ideas for teacher retirement gifts and/or cards. There are many teachers retiring in my school district this year, and I would love to show them my appreciation for their many years of service. I am also looking for ideas for Teacher Appreciation Day which is coming up. Any ideas on that?
Thank you!

I follow your blog and really enjoy your posts and ideas. I just recently left my day job to open my own business selling my art and distressed picture frames. I was curious about how to offer a giveaway of one of my products. How do you decide on what giveaways you will be offering? I would love for you to check out my blog and see if you would be interested in offering one of my small frames as a giveaway. Thanks! Jennifer

Thought you'd want to know.

Thanks for the opportunity to win!

Hi Kierste, if I can remember correctly, you included in one of your posts a place setting idea for keeping kids occupied at Thanksgiving dinner (I'm having trouble finding it now.) Do you have something similar for Christmas? Or could you point me to the Thanksgiving post? I'm hosting a small Christmas lunch this weekend and want to throw something together to keep the 4 boys who will be in attendance very busy. Thanks!

Hi,
I found your blog through pinterest. I am planning on doing a blog about finding your jamberry post and making the jam with my daughter. I won't be using your images, but I will share a link back to your page. Thanks for the great idea and printables.
