{favorite 2010 projects}

2010 was such a great year! All of you are so wonderful, and I have to tell you how much I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate all your kind comments, questions, and e-mails.

Thank you
for reading, for following, and letting me into your life.

After 15 months of brown paper packages, I'm still learning. One thing that I have lacked to do is install some kind of tracking device (i.e. Google Analytics, which I just looked at for the first time last night) to figure out my posts, and their popularity, which means, I have nothing official. However, I do have my personal favorites, and the projects that got the most comments and feedback.

So here you are, my Top 10 Favorite Projects of 2010!

ABC's in a Can

I created this project for a guest tutorial over at Ucreate. I made them when my babies were just little, and now they're finally old enough to start playing with them!

Burlap Tic-Tac-Toe

I have had a love of burlap forever, and this is one of my favorites, ever! It's a staple down in our playroom.

Candy Pumpkin Bracelets

These are fun...and yummy!

DIY Barn Door

If you've been drooling over all the home decor ideas using old barn doors, don't worry, you can make one of your own!

Mini Quiet Books

I just love these. They are inexpensive, darling, easy to clean, and easy to transport. They can be used for anything--ABC's, colors, shapes, and more!

Wooden Stool Makeover

This was definitely one of the most popular projects of the year, and a top three favorite for me. I LOVE it, and as my kids get older, it becomes even more treasured.

Picnic Table Re-do

Oh my goodness, this table was in such disrepair, and now it's perfect for our backyard BBQs and projects. Love it!

Twine-covered Cans

Twine is another favorite of mine, and add it to my personal passion of organization, it tops both my list and the readers'!

Family Meal Planner

Meal planning has got to be for me, one of the trickiest parts of my life. Managing meals and grocery shopping have been greatly simplified by the use of this meal planner. LOVE it.

Chocolate Chip Toffee Bars

How could I not have some food on this list? These are hands down my favorite cookie/bar of all time. Try them, and you'll see why!

Framed Twine Wreath

Another twine favorite! This wreath was the perfect addition to my mini bathroom makeover, but it would work in a variety of spaces. I think I want to make something like it for my front door...

Laundry Room Shelves

I jumped on the laundry room bandwagon, but made my shelves in another spot in the room, rather than underneath the washer & dryer. That's the beauty of it--they can go anywhere you need them! I have a friend that wanted to make them after she saw mine, but her space was quite limited. She did have a small closet in her laundry room, so she built her shelves inside it. It was perfect for her, and utilized the space she had.

I'm looking forward to an even better 2011--thanks for coming along with me!

Fun summary - all of those projects are so creative. I am curious how you used Google Analytics. Is it a separate website or a gadget on yours?

So I recently realized that from the "design" button, there is a tab called "stats" - you can see how many hits by post and can specify overall, over the past month, week, day, etc. pretty cool feature! (and kind of addicting) Let me know if you have any questions:

It's been a long time since I've come across your blog and have enjoyed looking at your darling projects. I'm expecting my 5th and I'm sitting here wondering how in heavens you find the time not only to implement all these great ideas let alone blog about them!? I LOVE sewing and crafting of all kinds and it's a luxury when I get the chance. I admire those that are able to find the time!
