Hi everyone! I am Cheri from I Am Momma - Hear Me Roar. At my place I love to blog about decorating, sewing, photography, projects for boys, and anything else that peaks my interest. I'm excited to talk about organizing because I secretly love organizing. It makes me really happy to have a place for everything and everything in its place. Today I'm going to show you how I stay organized (and sane) in my car with my two little guys.
I have always had a container in my car with the necessities. However, as my boys grow their needs change. I used to always have a back up binky, diaper, blanket, etc. Now my youngest is 21 months, so I don't need any of those things. I need toys and books. Here is my solution.
Have you seen those cleaning caddies? Mine was $3.50 at Wal-mart. I use it as our car caddy and it works really well. Let me show you.
The tissue boxes work perfectly as dividers, so there's a place for all the little things. The empty tissue box makes a nice small garbage for wrappers. The caddy fits neatly between their seats. (Obviously you could put it wherever it fits in your car.) The nice thing for us is that if we decide to take my husband's car to get somewhere, I can just reach in and grab the caddy to bring with us. Then I don't have to hear, "Mom! I don't have my sunglasses!" "Mom! I don't have a toy." It's portable and convenient.
So, this is how we roll.

That is a handy little doohicky. I have one of those for my cleaning supplies but i think i may just switch over!
I absolutely LOVE this! I'm a "container" hoarder - and always seem to find reasons to need a new one. Thanks for inspiring another reason!

Cheri, great idea...but I think those two little tykes sitting by the caddy are just WAY TOO CUTE! :)I'm going to make one of these for each of kids, that have kids.
