{friday favorites}

Okay, so I know it's Saturday, but since blogger has been doing crazy things over the past few days, I'm just now able to get this posted!

I have a few favorite things right now...

Let's start with food, lol.

Chobani Pineapple Greek Yogurt

Out of all the flavors, this is definitely my most favorite.  It tastes like a creamy Pina Colada, and I eat it almost every morning.  With 14 grams of protein, it's perfect for breakfast, after a run, or just when you're wanting something yummy. Oh,and I'm pretty sure I break all the yogurt rules by stirring my yogurt and fruit together, but I think it's much better that way. :)

Edy's Key Lime Pie Frozen Yogurt

If you're a key lime pie lover like I am, you HAVE to try this new flavor!  The key lime yogurt is smooth and creamy, and the pieces of crust are these heavenly chunks of graham goodness.  It's also low-fat (although it doesn't taste like it), which is good, since I could eat a lot of it.  I have a feeling this is going to be a favorite for a long time.

 3/4 Sleeve Cardigans
(www. oldnavy.com)

I am a cardigan lover.  I especially love the 3/4 sleeve length--it's perfect for spring and for all the fun layering that's so trendy right now.  Pair it with a darling ruffled tank, plain tee shirt, or pin a flower on the front, and you're ready to go!  I have quite a few right now, but I would like one in every color.  :)

Exfoliating Gloves

It's all about exfoliating, right?  I {love} these gloves, and they are a part of my daily skin regimen.  I use them in combination with my face cleanser when I shower, and the texture removes all the dead skin cells.  I've used them for a long time, and my face definitely has shown a difference. The ones pictured are by Spa Sister, and I get them on amazon--2 for $5.

Children's Book:  The Tin Forest, by Helen Ward

I have a passion for children's books, and I was introduced to this one this past week by a good friend. It has quickly become a favorite--it tells not only a fascinating tale of imagination, but of not giving up and working hard to make your dreams reality.

It's the story of a man who lived in a forgotten place, surrounded by trash and objects that others no longer wanted.  He dreamed at night of a forest with animals and beautiful flowers, and one day decided to make his own "forest" out of tin.  He created trees, flowers, animals from his own imagination. One day, a visitor arrived in the form of a colorful bird, eating the crumbs the old man gave him, and singing his thanks back to the man.  Sadly, the bird left the next morning, yet the next day the old man awoke to the song of not only his visitor, but his mate as well.  They brought seeds to plant, and decided to make their home there, in the tin forest. Soon, green shoots sprouted, flowers bloomed and various wild animals came to the forest to make their home. . . "And in the house lived an old man who never stopped dreaming.""There was once a wide, windswept place . . . . but where there is a dream, hope can grow."

Mean Green Multi-Purpose Cleaner

A favorites list of mine would not be complete with a cleaning item.  :)  I LOVE a clean house.  I am a simple girl when it comes to cleaning.  I don't believe in using a lot of products--I think a few basics do the best job.  I love Mean Green for several reasons:  It's a true multi-purpose cleaner, and can be used both inside and out; it cleans my dark granite to perfection, and LEAVES NO STREAKS; the de-greasing power is awesome, and it cleans my gas range stove top in a snap; and it's inexpensive (a 40 oz. bottle is around $2).

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Blogger has been so incredibly frustrating the last few days hasn't it.

Love your list. I have some Greek Yogurt sitting in the fridge--your pineapple one looks much tastier ; ) Of course, I read laurie's comment and may have trouble finding it here in Canada, but I'll go look anyway.

Chobani Pineapple-MY ABSOLUTE FAVE! I buy it a ton at a time and eat it almost every morning, too. Those exfoliating gloves look pretty cool-I've never heard of them. Thanks for sharing!
