{back 2 basics} lil' luna

 

 Hi there friends!!! My name is Kristyn from Lil' Luna, and I am SOO happy to be here today on Brown Paper Packages. I just love Kierste and all her creative ideas!! I was thrilled when Kierste asked that I share a Back 2 Basics tutorial with all of you. Since my oldest started Preschool last week, I thought it would be perfect to share with you the little Back to School Gift we made for her. I'm always trying to think of practical gifts and thought this next one would be good for any teacher. It can be filled with goodies or other red or green school supplies. I had found these cute paper clips at Target and knew these would be perfect. Here is how you can make it too...

 

SUPPLIES:

- Small Jar (got mine at Walmart for $1.97 - LOVE that it is already an apple shape!) 

 - Goodies to fill it with (My red and pink paper clips came from Target) 

 - Vinyl or Sticker 

 - Silhouette cutter if using vinyl 

 - Green Paper 

 - If Teachers Were Apples Tags 

 - Twine/Ribbon

DIRECTIONS:

1. Fill your jar with your supplies/goodies.

2. Cut a leaf shape out of your green paper. Add it to the jar by sticking it in the twine or ribbon you wrap around.

3. Download, print and cut out the Tags. They are in Red, Pink and Green. To download click on the image above and then save.

4. Glue tags to the top of your jar.

5. Using your Silhouette, cut out the letter you want on there. Lily's teacher's last name starts with "K" so we did that letter. Add it to your jar.
